Greg, distraught over Terrance’s death, takes his own life. At the bar, we meet the
snarky Sebastian his best friend Cassie, the irrepressible Wendy, new bartender,
Doug, and Leslie, the straight girl who everyone thinks is a lesbian, and Bart, the
gay guy who everybody thinks is straight. Liz is torn between letting Lainey grieve
and encouraging Lainey to take responsibility for the baby. Angeles and Mark have
a moment at Gethsemene, but Mark loses his nerve when Angeles tries to take
things to the next level. On the softball field, Alex and Rex are stimulated by the
fact that they’re playing against each other. Morgan, friend of and snack provider
for Alex’s team, is intrigued by the team’s newest member, the mysterious Sandy.
We meet Clark and Kent, two star-crossed lovers forced to keep their passion
secret due to differing political views. Back at the bar, Prissy Man (Bertram
Wooster Holliday, III) announces he’s running for alderman, and Alex vows to run
against him, with Rex as her campaign manager.
