Beth Allin - Beth is devilishly excited to be joining the cast of The Ville. In Chicago, Beth has been seen in The Audition with the North Lakeside Players and in Stages 2007 at Theatre Building Chicago. In her native Kansas City, favorite performances include Rose in Bye Bye Birdie, Hop Sing in Bonanza: The Purposely Lost Episode, and It's Hard to be a Diva - her first solo cabaret show. Beth also sang with the Kansas City Symphony Chorus and performed with the choir at Carnegie Hall in 2006. |
Jes Bedwinek - Along with many other opinionated, queer, tofu-eating, NPR loving individuals, holds a BA from Oberlin College and currently lives here in Andersonville. She recently appeared as Catherine in "The Foreigner" at Metropolis Performing Arts Center. Other Chicago credits include: Belinda in "This is How it Goes", Megan in "Dimly Percieved Threats to the System", Joan in "Sexual Perversity in Chicago", The Marriage of Marcus Tyler, On Air, Adventures in Comedy, Birphday!, Genre. Ryan Ben – is ecstatic about joining the cast of The Ville. A recent graduate from The University of Pittsburgh, Ryan moved to Chicago in October '08 in the hopes of pursuing his lifelong dream of acting and living barely above the poverty level. Ryan would like to take the time to thank all of the people who are responsible for helping with this dream, including his parents, brother, friends, family, peers, and inspirations: his girlfriend Lauren and Bruce Willis. What's Ryan's personal motto you may ask? GO BIG OR GO HOME! |
Jamie Black - has been an actor in Chicago for over 10 years. He's worked for many theatre companies including Factory Theatre, Imagination Theater, Noble Fool Theatre, and Bailiwick Theatre. In 2004, Bailiwick produced the Chicago premier of his one man show Living Inside Myself. Jamie is co-founder of the sketch comedy group Soul Fools and hopes to become an actor, writer and comedian in LA. Right now, he's happy to be performing in The Ville. Jamie would like to thank his family and everyone else for their support. |
Kate Meredith Cox - Kate recently moved to Chicago to experience a personal creative Renaissance. I was last seen rapping the knuckles of elementary children in a Montessori School downstate. Or at least, that's how I paid the bills. I've been traveling and performing for years. Favorite performances include: Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors (Cornstock Theater), Mary Jane in Big River (Eastlight Theater), and singing at the Maison Bleue in Paris, France. I now reside with my husband of 7 years, and our cat Pablo. |
Delicia Dunham - is excited to be joining Bare Boned Theatre for Season 3 of The Ville. Since majoring in Drama at Duke, she has performed onstage in roles as: “Baybay” in Shay Youngblood’s Talking Bones (with eta Creative Arts Foundation); “Leonata” in a gender-switch adaptation of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing (with GroundUp Theatre Company); and “Micki” in Paula Kamen’s Jane: Abortion and the Underground (with 20% Theatre Company). Delicia has also appeared on television in flashback roles on CourtTV and Animal Planet. Many thanks to all those who inspire her artistic endeavors. |
Micah Fortenberry - Micah is SUPER! excited to join season three of The Ville after becoming a fan last year. He is really really grateful to Rebekah and Jeff for dropping that restraining order and letting him be in the cast even though he kidnapped Amanda Presz and kept her bed ridden by pulling her knee out of socket. Thanks also to Mary's Attic, who finally let him back in the building after he ran through Hamburger Mary's naked with The Ville painted all over his body. Remember: any publicity is good publicity. |
Samantha Garcia - is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and has lived and worked all over the world. Since making Chicago her home, she has worked with Halcyon Theatre, Dramatis Personae, and Theatre-Hikes, among others. In addition to being a BBT company member, she is also a proud member of A Reasonable Facsimile Theatre Company. Thank you for supporting live theater! |
Benjamin Haile - is honored to be a part of this season's Ville cast and can't wait to accept the challenges and life before him. A graduate of Western Illinois' theatre program some of his favorite roles include: Stendahl (Martian Chronicles), Bernardo (Zastrozzi), The Headless Horseman (Legend of Sleepy Hallow), Judas Ischariot (Jesus Christ Superstar), Prince Escalus (Romeo & Juliet) and Flute / Thisby (Midsummer Night's Dream). |
Anna Lucero - Anna is from Baltimore. She fancies improv and sketch comedy. Someday, when she's not such a scaredy-cat, she is going to try stand-up comedy. When she grows up she wants a washer/dryer in her apartment and to be just like Lily Tomlin. She would like to thank her friends. They are like family. |
Elisa Pope - is so excited to being joining the cast of The Ville! Elisa grew up in San Diego California and has her degree in Theatre from the University of California Irvine. She left California right after graduation and has been moving ever since! Her recent credits include Five Women Wearing the Same Dress with Michael Chekhov Theater Co. in New York City, tours with both CLIMB Theatre and The National Theatre for Children of Minneapolis, and most recently, Body and Sold with CAASE here at Chicago's own Center on Halsted. |
Alisa Rosenthal - Alisa is downright tickled to be joining the third season of The Ville! She graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA in Theatre Arts and English, where she produced, wrote, and directed a one act. Her writing has appeared in the University’s Ten Minute Play Festival. Favorite roles at Iowa include a one-legged Boutros in Red Noses and Mrs. Trotsky in Variations on the Death of Trotsky. She’s also played a string of characters named Yenta. Alisa would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support. |
Anna Schlegel - is so excited to be embarking on her third season of The Ville! An Idaho native, Anna moved to the Second City in fall of ’06 with big dreams of comedy and show tunes. Anna can also be seen as a writer/ensemble member in Four Days Late at the Apollo Theatre in March, April and May. Other favorite projects include: iAlone, Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, and Meet Me in St. Louis. Much love to my boys; Buddy and Branson, the Trifecta, and the Schlegel Clan. |
James Stanton - James was born and raised in Louisville, KY and attained a BFA in Performing Arts from Western Kentucky University before spending two years living and acting in a mansion by the sea in Newport, Rhode Island. Since moving to Chicago two years ago, he's performed in "Half Magic" at LifeLine Theatre, "Martian Chronicles" at Lincoln Square Theatre, completed the improv training program at The Annoyance Theatre, where he created and performed in "FrostBite," and met the woman of his dreams, as well as lots of swell friends. Kelli Strickland - Kelli is delighted to be joining the cast of The Ville. She has worked as an actor and director Bailiwick Repertory, Women's Theatre Alliance, 20% Theatre Co., Zebra Crossing, Mary Arrchie Theatre and Avenue Theatre Co. As a dramaturg she has worked with Guthrie Theatre, Missouri Repertory and locally with Shattered Globe. Kelli is currently the Director of Education and Outreach at the Raven Theatre where she advocates for and implements arts education in the Chicago Public School system and she is on faculty in the Theatre Department at Loyola University. |
Bob Domkuski - has been a fan of The Ville since being introduced to the show during season two and is so excited to now be joining the cast. Bob was last seen as Bartholomew in Ludicrous Theatre's production of Corpus Christi. Some of Bob's favoriate roles include: Michael in Key Exchange (Theatre-Hikes), Matt G./ Jedadiah in The Laramie Project (The James Downing Theatre), and Corydon in Aria Da Capo (Bailiwick Director's Festival). Bob is a graduate of Illinois State University where he majored in Theatre. |
Heather Kinion - has an MFA in Acting from the University of Idaho, loves chipotle veggie burritos, her fellow Chicago Vandals, Steve McQueen (the worst pet a girl could ask for), and most of all Sam! |
